The adidas Yeezy line is prolific for their use of earth tones across their entire lineup, frequently utilizing shades of tan and brown. The last two years however have been an exception with plenty of models getting a brighter look to them. One silhouette that has seen plenty of flashy takes is the adidas Yeezy Boost 700 V1, recently seen in a “Hi-Res Red.” Flipping this script, the 700 has now been spotted in “Hi-Res Blue.”
Keeping what made the 700 the perennial dad shoe, the silhouette comes in various layers of mesh, suede, and leather throughout. On the toecap, a fang-shaped suede overlay as well as two mesh side panels take on a lavender hue, accented by a deep bluish-purple mesh panel. Surrounding these mesh panels is a black suede that also acts as the vamp for the blue mesh tongue. Running up the blue leather eyestays is a tonal blue set of infinity rope laces. Underneath this leather overlay is another blue-shaded mesh panel that hides a 3M reflective Three Stripes logo.
The mesh collar also takes on a blue shade, contrasting well with yet another black suede overlay housing 3M reflective details. More suede is present on the heel in blue, featuring perforations, with hits of 3M. Underfoot the blue sculpted midsole comes with bluish-grey hits on the heels oval cutouts, black on the heel itself, and red featured on the front wave-like pattern. Encased between the blue rubber outsole and the midsole is a full-length Boost cushioning system, finishing off this “Hi-Res Blue” colorway.
The adidas Yeezy Boost 700 Hi-Res Blue is set to release on Yeezy Day 2022, August 2nd in the US and August 3rd in the EU and Asia, through adidas Confirmed and/or Yeezy Supply. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $260. To stay updated on the latest from Yeezy, keep it locked to our Twitter andMobile App to stay up to date on future releases.
