But, Jordan Brand has successfully resurrected the highly underrated second signature silhouette for Michael Jordan in recent years. As a result, the Air Jordan 2 Retro is one of the most retroed silhouettes, with plenty of iterations dropping every season. We're still not done with the announcements of new colorways for 2024—cue in another Air Jordan 2 Retro for the new year.
Coming in a classic white, fire red, black, sail, and cement grey colorway, this Air Jordan 2 Retro is known as the Python edition. It features a white-based leather upper, and a cement grey python adorns the side overlay. Sail accents found on the eyelets, plastic heel, and midsole add a vintage look to this pair. Black accents the lining, Wings logo on the tongue, and back heel tab, while a cement grey rubber outsole rounds things out for this AJ 2.
The Air Jordan 2 Retro Python is set to release on January 20, 2024, through Nike, SNKRS, and select Jordan Brand retailers. Coming in full-family sizing, retail is set at $175, $140, $85, and $65, respectively.
