Craig Green is set to debut another sneaker from the depths of adidas’ archives. Known for putting his own spin on old adidas models, the adidas Squash Polta AKH is Green’s take on a 1988 Squash shoe that was made in Taiwan. The Squash midsole tooling exposing the EVA midsole appropriately meshes with the exposing of the underlay through materials of varying opaqueness.
The Craig Green x adidas Squash Polta AKH features a green underlay that is patterned with “f.3641b,” stacked above adidas and the Trefoil logo. The majority of the sneaker is wrapped in a thin translucent layer that has a sesame brown tint to it. On top of the translucent overlay is the adidas Three Stripes that strike through the mid-foot of the upper at where the quarter panel would be. The heel and toe are capped with a buttery grey suede. A cream-colored synthetic material is used for the eyelets, tongue, and around the ankle collar, as Craig Green branding is found around the ankle with co-branding printed onto the tongue. The gum outsole wraps around the midsole, with the outsole exposing the green and white EVA foam at the mid-foot.
The Craig Green x adidas Squash Polta AKH Cream White is set to release on July 27th, 2022. The sneakers will release for adiClub members on adidas, adidas.com, the CONFIRMED app, and select adidas retailers worldwide. Coming in men’s sizing, retail is TBA. Keep it locked to our Twitter andMobile App to stay up to date on future releases.
