With that said, adidas is looking to get pizza in the action this season by teaming up with one of Brooklyn's most iconic pizza joints, with the Cuts & Slices x adidas Forum 84 Hi "Off-White." Known for its classics such as the "Beef Pepperoni" and "Cheese," the New York City-based establishment is also famous for its wackier toppings, like the "Chicken & Waffle" and "Sweet Chili Salmon." Located in the Bed-Stuy neighborhood, Cuts & Slices' take on the legendary Three Stripes basketball shoe is painted in its signature color palette. Crafted primarily from smooth leather, shadow red hues embark upon the toe box, tongue, and heel counter, while the rest of the upper is done up in a clean off-white. The restaurant's logo adorns the tongue, and its address is printed around the collar. Pull Up Beloved features on the ankle strap as a nod to its slogan, and this is done up in a creamy accent to pay homage to pizza dough. Everything is then finished off with a beige orange tone that's probably inspired by tomato sauce.
Arriving in a special edition shoe box, the Cuts & Slices x adidas Forum 84 Hi Off-White will release at a pre-launch event on September 20th, 2022, followed by a much wider release on October 4th, 2022 at adidas and select stockists online and in-store. Expected to be available in men's sizes, a retail price has yet TBA.
