Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics lead the Cavs 1-0 in the Eastern Conference Semifinals, looking to carve a path toward the NBA Finals. For Tatum, he's been taking the court in his newest signature model with Jordan Brand, the Tatum 2, which has had a lackluster launch thus far. Even Jordan Brand has the same thoughts, as only a month after the debut of the Tatum 2, we have first looks at the Jordan Tatum 3.
The Jordan Tatum 3 Welcome to the Garden Alternate, with its innovative design and floral accents, marks a fresh chapter, reflecting Tatum's personal style and on-court finesse. This iteration maintains the second silhouette’s shape and structure but introduces a redesigned upper and sole unit that blends functionality with flair. The upper features a mix of materials, with textile panels embroidered to showcase intricate floral patterns near the toe, midfoot, and collar, adding a touch of elegance.
Mesh sections enhance breathability, extending from the toe through the midfoot to the heel. Branding includes Tatum’s distinct JT logo on the tongue and a discreet Jumpman on the lateral toe, maintaining the signature aesthetic of the line. Underfoot, the sole unit shifts from the textile pod system of the Tatum 2 to a more streamlined rubber sidewall, with the outsole sporting a durable, grippy finish suitable for dynamic play.
The Jordan Tatum 3 Welcome to the Garden Alternate will release on October 10, 2024, through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Available in full-family sizing, retail is set at $125, $90, $75, and $55, respectively.
