Yeezy Release Rumors have swirled over the last few days across the internet regarding retailers like Foot Locker selling Yeezy sneakers again. We can now confirm that for the first time since the adidas Yeezy partnership ended, Yeezy sneakers will be returning to retailers across the globe starting in August.
This follows up on adidas’ successful “Yeezy Day” in June, which helped kickstart the company’s plans to offload its remaining Yeezy inventory. Portions of the proceeds were donated to organizations fighting for social justice, including the Philonise & Keeta Floyd Institute for Social Change and the Anti-Defamation League. It’s currently unknown whether the inventory sold through retailers will also be donated to these organizations.
Aside from Finish Line and JD Sports posting the adidas Yeezy Slide Bone on their release calendars, Sole Retriever was able to view a purchase order list from an EU retailer that showcases what Yeezy models adidas has offered retailers to order. It is important to note, not all retailers will carry the same array of products and may not follow the same release schedule.
On July 28, 2023, adidas officially announced the release date of new Yeezy product beginning in August. Product will be available both through adidas Confirmed, the adidas app, and adidas' website on top of select retailers. In the press releases, adidas notes that "availability and timing of release will also vary depending on location" and that this will be a phased release to help manage demand. Products featured in press imagery include already revealed releases like the adidas Yeezy Foam RNNR Carbon and the all-new adidas Yeezy 450 Slide.
As with the last Yeezy drop in May, adidas is continuing to donate portions of revenue with The Three Stripes partnering with the Anti-Defamation League, Philonise & Keeta Floyd Institute for Social Change, and Robert Kraft's Foundation to Combat Antisemitism (FCAS). Select products purchased in North America directly from adidas will feature blue square pins in the packaging, created by FCAS through the foundation's #StandUpToJewishHate campaign.
