Synonymous with timeless design and minimalistic charm, the adidas Stan Smith has remained a staple in the sneaker world since its introduction in the 1970s. Today, adidas brings a contemporary twist by unveiling the adiFom Stan Smith Mule, borrowing the Stan Smith's DNA and morphing it into a platform mule.
Launching in six monochromatic colorways, the adidas adiFom Stan Smith Mule reinvents the iconic model using the same foam-based structure as the infamous adiFom Q. This reimagination retains a simple upper, spotlighting a singular Trefoil logo at the center of the forefoot. At the same time, the chunky sole unit flaunts prominent adidas branding. Perforations on the medial side provide breathability, which could be vital with so much foam. The material is partially derived from sugarcane, aiding in adidas’ commitment to reducing its carbon footprint using renewable materials.
The adidas adiFom Stan Smith Mule in the “Green” colorway has already hit adidas’ website, while other colorways have been released across various retailers. Expect more options to release through adidas in the coming weeks. Releasing in women’s sizing, the retail price is set at $70.
