Yohji Yamamoto’s sub-label with adidas, Y-3, may not command the same level of hype it did in the mid-2010s, though they have continued to innovate and produce unique clothing pieces alongside footwear. Throughout 2022, the theme for collections fell under the “Collective Memory” umbrella, getting completed by the upcoming adidas Y-3 FW22 Collection dubbed “Memories Of Exotics.”
While many of the clothing pieces, from outdoor wear to dresses, come in a range of colors from animal prints to vibrant shades, the footwear choices get covered in a mixture of earth tones and white/black combos. Staple Y-3 sneakers are included in the upcoming collection, from the Qasa to the variety of 4D running-inspired silhouettes, even outdoor-ready TERREX boots get the high fashion twist like the Free Hiker GTX. Overall, there are more than 15 different footwear options to choose from, so finding a style that fits your wardrobe shouldn’t be a tall task.
The entire adidas Y-3 FW22 Collection is set to release over the course of the coming two months through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in unisex sizing, the retail prices maintain their usual markups, ranging from $280 to $400.
