Dating back to 2016, the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 became the brand's most popular silhouette due to its comfort and semi-unique design. As the brand has progressed, the model has fallen in popularity, though Yeezy did come up with a solution. That is where the CMPCT variant steps in. Still not classified as the 350 V3, the latest model in the 350 line has appeared in an all-white "Slate Bone."
Redesigning the upper, the silhouette uses a 3D knit material akin to the BSKTBL Knit. A digital-camo-like pattern dresses the upper, taking on a shade of pure white throughout, sans the grey hits seen along the midfoot. The lacing system borrows from the Yeezy 450 with knit eyestays raised from the upper housing a set of tonal white infinity laces, though they technically serve no functional purpose as the slip-on sneaker hugs the foot in place. Around the collar, a white stretchy knit with grey hints allows for easy on and off action. Underfoot, the iconic Yeezy 350 V2 rubber midsole and outsole come in a semi-translucent white, housing the full-length Boost cushioning system.
The adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 CMPCT Slate Bone is set to release on October 15th, 2022 through adidas Confirmed, adidas.com/yeezy, Yeezy Supply, and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men's sizing, the retail price is set at $230. For a complete list of Yeezy release dates, check out our Yeezy Release Calendar.
