The collaborative partnership between adidas and Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, has been dissolved as of October 2022. The demand for footwear, however, especially newer designs such as the Slide and Foam RNNR,remains at an all-time high. As part of adidas' plans to offload at least some of its remaining Yeezy inventory, we’re set to see a variety of Yeezy sneakers releasing May 31. Alongside two other Foam RNNR colorways, we’re getting the debut of the “Clay Taupe” rendition.
Sporting an all-over monochromatic tan hue, this new release shares similarities with the Ochre colorway. As is the case with all Yeezy Foam RNNRs, the model comes constructed from a one-piece EVA and algae composite. The design incorporates perforations near the toe, midfoot, and some sections of the heel, promoting air circulation and enhancing comfort. The soft footbed then elevates comfort levels even further. At the same time, the foam outsole features a traction pattern and cutouts to allow the foam to expand, making this one of the most comfortable Yeezy offerings to date.
The adidas Yeezy Foam RNNR Clay Taupe will release May 31 exclusively through adidas Confirmed or adidas.com/yeezy. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $90.
