New Yeezy Slides continue appearing despite Yeezy’s partnership with adidas still being in the air. Yeezy releases from the Yeezy Slide “Resin,” to the Yeezy 500 “Taupe Black” have been pushed back on adidas's end, though some retailers still seem to be following the schedule. Hopefully the latest colorway of the adidas Yeezy Slide to be revealed, “Smoke Grey,” gets a proper rollout and release.
The ever-popular Yeezy Slide has already donned a color very similar to this recently revealed “Smoke Grey,” covered in its titular shade across the one-piece molded EVA foam construction. Minimal branding and design remain as the only visible details come via the Three Stripes logo on the heel of the footbed and through the “Yeezy” debossing underneath the forefoot strap. Like all new Slide releases, the updated EVA features a texturized finish and a softer feel underfoot, creating an even more comfortable experience for the wearer. Rounding out the design is the grooved V-shaped foam outsole that provides traction on this simple silhouette.
The adidas Yeezy Slide Smoke Grey is set to release in 2022 through adidas Confirmed, adidas.com/yeezy, Yeezy Supply, and select Yeezy retailers online and in-store. Coming in adult, kids, and infant sizing, the retail price is set at $70, $50, and $40 respectively.
