Classic colorways from the Air Jordan line have continually found their way onto other iterations in the numerical release. We’ve seen plenty of Chicago colorways grace the line and with the Air Jordan 37 taking major inspiration from the Air Jordan 7 it only makes sense to take colorways from the OG releases and add them to the latest iteration. Taking us all the way back to 92, the Air Jordan 37 “Bordeaux” is almost here.
Taking on the same black, grey, and multi-color shades found on the original AJ 7, the performance basketball silhouette keeps its typical Leno-Weave, suede, and neoprene construction throughout. Light grey takes over the semi-transparent Leno-Weave upper while black shades appear on the suede mudguard that wraps around the entire upper. Along the neoprene tongue sits the iconic multi-color pattern that was visible in the Michael Jackson “Jam” video that the sneaker is famously attributed to. Even though this portion of the sneaker contains vibrant hits, the heel and collar portions come in a jet black shade and get accented by an orange MJ signature and purple Jumpman on the pull tab. Underfoot, the AJ 37 midsole comes in an ashy black with the semi-transparent heel getting an ashy grey finish. Rounding everything out is the AJ 7 inspired rubber outsole with multi-color hits tying in the “Bordeaux” theme.
The Air Jordan 37 Bordeaux is set to release on January 5th, 2023 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $185.
