Alexandre Sarr Signs With Decathlon as Brand Ambassador

Decathlon, one of the world’s largest sporting goods brands, is making a bold move in basketball by signing Alexandre Sarr as its latest ambassador. The Washington Wizards power forward, selected second overall in the 2024 NBA Draft, is officially partnered with Decathlon, which will serve as his technical partner and exclusive shoe supplier.

At just 19 years old, Sarr has already established himself as a rising star in the NBA. His journey has taken him from Real Madrid’s youth system to Overtime Elite and the Perth Wildcats in Australia’s NBL. Now, as he begins his NBA career with the Washington Wizards, Decathlon will support him with top-tier footwear, training equipment, and more.

As part of this new partnership, Sarr will play an integral role in developing and refining Decathlon’s basketball footwear and apparel. He will provide direct feedback to the brand’s R&D team to ensure that future Decathlon basketball products, including footwear and apparel, meet the highest performance standards. Decathlon has already released an exclusive colorway of the Fast 900 silhouette bearing Alexandre’s signature on the heel to kick off the partnership.
