In celebration of the Basketball Africa League (BAL), an exclusive edition of the Jordan Tatum 1 has been revealed. The BAL is a collaboration between the NBA and the International Basketball Federation (FIBA), marking a milestone in the global expansion of basketball.
The BAL x Jordan Tatum 1 takes center stage with a sophisticated palette of black, tan, and a splash of vibrant colors representing the Pan-African flag. The upper is made of lightweight black mesh, augmented by tan TPU overlays around the toe and eyestays. The heel's overlays and leather portions showcase intricate graphics, adding a distinct cultural vibe to the silhouette. Pops of red, yellow, blue, and green are on the top two eyelets, while the heel is adorned with soft green suede. BAL branding takes precedence over the usual Tatum details on the pull tab. The design is completed by a black foam midsole partially extending onto the upper and a black and tan outsole.
The BAL x Jordan Tatum 1 is likely a PE for players in the Basketball African League and most likely will not be seeing a retail release.
