After announcing his re-signing with Nike, Deion Sanders' influence has been evident, especially with the upcoming release of Kyler Murray's Vapor Edge 360 DT inspired by Sanders’ signature Nike sneakers. Now, Prime Time gives us a sneak peek into what could be his next line of kicks, showcased in an Instagram post straight from the locker room of the Colorado Buffaloes.
In the photos shared by Sanders, three mesh-based iterations of the Nike ZoomX DT Max 96 are displayed. Each model has unique claw marks that seem to crawl from the sole to the upper, adding a rugged aesthetic to the shoe. Another striking detail is the lockdown strap on the forefoot, likely for improved stability, and a detail taken from his Air DT Max 96. Upgrades to the classic silhouette include a breathable mesh upper and a ZoomX cushioned sole. Sanders' "Prime" branding appears prominently on the heel tab, tying it all together in an unmistakable fashion.
It remains to be seen whether these are prototypes for a forthcoming release or exclusive 1-of-1 PEs crafted just for Sanders. Keep it locked to our Twitter and the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the latest releases, raffles, news, and more in the sneaker and streetwear world.
