Disney and adidas have teamed up again to bring some of the most iconic characters of all time to life. Following up on the duo’s work on the adidas Superstar which featured Pinocchio, the upcoming Disney x adidas Samba Vegan Pack features two sneakers inspired by Mickey and Minnie Mouse.
Utilizing vegan materials, meaning animal products like leather are not used in the construction of the upper, both Mickey and Minnie’s pair comes with all-white uppers. While the sneakers appear all-white at first glance, we see accenting hits found on the tongue tag, which hosts a graphic of Mickey and Minnie for each respective sneaker, and hits of color on the other branding details. Minnie's pair features hits of red similar to her dress, located on the piping of the Three Stripes logo, her half-heart hand shape on the medial midfoot, and Samba branding. Mickey, on the other hand, brings all-black hits to these aforementioned colorful locations. Both sneakers are completed with an all-white Samba midsole and outsole.
The Disney x adidas Samba Vegan Pack is set to release on April 27th, 2023, through adidas and select retailers, with a retail price of $100. The sneakers will be available in men's sizing.
