While adidas has struggled with some of its biggest partnerships lately, such as Beyonce’s IVY Park and Yeezy, Disney and adidas are continuing their successful collaborative partnership. On top of the recently revealed Disney x adidas sneakers that honored the former's 100th anniversary, adidas is bringing the fan-favorite character Grogu from The Mandalorian to a kids’ exclusive adidas Grand Court.
Taking on the appearance of “Baby Yoda” through its color scheme, the canvas, leather, and rubber sneaker features Grogu himself on the tongue. This graphic depicts the child in his floating pod and sits atop the green glow leather tongue. For the rest of the upper, we see a similarly shaded canvas contrasted by tan hits on the Three Stripes, sockliner, and heel. Velcro straps replace laces and continue the green glow color palette. Underfoot, the midsole and outsole come in a contrasting tan.
The Disney x adidas Grand Court Grogu (PS) will release in June through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in pre-school sizing, the retail price has yet to be announced.
