Nike's deep-rooted connection with the University of Oregon dates back to the brand's origins, making the school a frequent recipient of exclusive, high-profile footwear releases. With the advent of NIL (Name, Image, Likeness) deals through the NCAA, the university has offered student-athletes significant opportunities, with Nike playing a pivotal role through Division St. and Ducks of a Feather (DOAF). Following the success of previous collaborations, including two Air Max 1 designs that captivated sneakerheads—one of which was available on GOAT and the other at Flight Club—Nike and Division St. are set to introduce a new, bold addition to their lineup: the DOAF x Nike Dunk Low What The Ducks of a Feather Pack.
The DOAF x Nike Dunk Low What The Ducks of a Feather Pack is a creative interpretation of the classic "What The" theme, specifically designed to celebrate the University of Oregon’s iconic athletic programs. The pack includes two colorways of the Dunk Low (though there is allegedly a third unseen colorway), each embracing a mismatched aesthetic. Each sneaker combines different materials and color schemes, blending shades of green, yellow, and black to represent the school’s signature colors. The left and right pairs differ in material and design, quintessentially creating a visually dynamic experience.
The branding is unmistakably tied to Oregon, with Ducks of a Feather logos prominently on the tongue tags and heels. Additionally, each pair includes a special Oregon-branded hangtag featuring the Oregon Duck mascot’s head, adding a unique touch of school spirit. The "What The" concept has long been a favorite among sneakerheads, and this latest iteration will resonate with fans of both the University of Oregon and Nike’s Dunk Low silhouette.
The DOAF x Nike Dunk Low What The Ducks of a Feather Pack will be released via GOAT and Flight Club. First, an in-store release at Flight Club New York, Los Angeles, Miami, and Tokyo will take place on October 5. A wider drop via GOAT online will take place on October 11. However, after a failed release in NYC, Flight Club is now hosting a raffle, which is open here. Both pairs will retail for $275.
