Although LeBron James’ son Bronny is now playing in the NBA alongside his father, there’s something that Bronny has accomplished that LeBron has not — being made a member of Faze Clan. Using James’ connection to the gaming organization, FaZe has leveraged multiple collaborations with LeBron’s line of sneakers with Nike, including the LeBron Witness 8 and the LeBron NXXT Gen. Now, FaZe is getting a NXXT Gen AMPD collab just after the start of the NBA season.
FaZe Clan brings gaming-inspired graphics to the base layer of the sneaker by opting for an earth-tone color palette instead of the black and red used on previous collabs. A large light cream leather overlay covers the front half of the sneaker, with olive canvas details landing along the mudguard and heel. On the base is a translucent ripstop material that reveals a computer-inspired graphic, showcasing a motherboard with a CPU, sticks of RAM, and other internals you’d find in a gaming set-up. FaZe Clan replaces the LeBron branding on the added tag on the heel and along the tongue tag, while the Swoosh logos remain in their usual spots. Underfoot sits a white foam midsole with olive near the heel paired with a tonal rubber outsole.
The FaZe x Nike LeBron NXXT Gen AMPD releases on November 1, 2024, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $170.
