The Nike Air Force 1 has cemented its status in sneaker history as one of the most versatile and well-known models, becoming a palette for a wide variety of unique designs or easy-to-wear colorways. Sometimes, however, we see the model take on some changes, like the recent AMBUSH x Nike AF1 Low Pack, and Jacquemus will be the next collaborator to bring a new style to the Bruce Kilgore-designed Nike sneaker.
Launching in two colorways, “Black,” and “White,” the Jacquemus x Nike J Force 1 Low LX Pack will see the up-and-coming designer once again brings his unique aesthetic to The Swoosh. This is following up on his recent womenswear collection over the Summer of 2022 that featured a redesign of the Nike Air Humara.
Retaining the DNA of the AF1, we see a similar upper paired with a radically different sole unit. Both colorways come in a monochromatic build with a mini Swoosh (replacing the large panel along the midfoot) getting a metallic silver finish. JF1 branding is present on the lace dubrae while co-branded Jacquemus and Nike text is debossed onto the heel. Underfoot, a midsole featuring woven textiles in a similar manner to the woven upper of the upcoming Union x BBS x Air Jordan 1 High. Rounding out the design is the lugged outsole that host split branding between Jacquemus and Nike on the left and right sneaker respectively.
The Jacquemus x Nike J Force 1 Low LX Pack is set to release June 13th, 2023, via Jacquemus. The SNKRS and worldwide release date will follow on June 21. Coming in women’s sizing, the retail price is set at $170.
