Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic has been making waves on the court during the 2022-2023 NBA season in his singature Jordan Luka 1. After successfully debuting the Jordan Luka 2, the Slovenian sensation is now paying homage to his beloved pet dogs Viki, Hugo, and Gia with a special colorway of his first signature sneaker, the Jordan Luka 1 "Dog Dad."
Across the mesh, textile, and TPU-constructed silhouette sits a primarily white upper complemented by black accents on the Jumpman logo, the Latin text on the midfoot, and Luka's logo on the tongue. Pink accents can be found on the nylon pull tab and sections of the sole unit. The most charming touch comes from Viki, Hugo, and Gia's pawprints on the insole, making this sneaker a heartfelt tribute to Luka's furry family members. The design is completed with a white midsole featuring Formula23 cushioning and a semi-translucent icy blue rubber outsole.
The Jordan Luka 1 Dog Dad is set to release on May 1st, 2023, through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. The retail price for men's sizing is $110, while the GS, PS, and TD sizes are priced at $80, $70, and $50, respectively.
