The relationship between basketball and sneakers has always been symbiotic, and Jordan Brand remains at the forefront of this union. Luka Dončić, the young NBA prodigy, has already etched his name into the annals of history with his signature line with Jordan Brand. As 2023 progressed, we were introduced to his second signature sneaker, the Luka 2, and have seen a slew of colorways already on the model. The latest makeover, dubbed “Trick Shot,” is making its way to the basketball sneaker and Michael Jordan's NASCAR team 23XI. Driver Tyler Reddick and his car have been transformed to mimic this new color scheme.
Delving into its design, the Trick Shot takes on a pristine white base, complemented by refreshing green highlights on the TPU panels near the toe and midfoot. The sneaker preserves integral features of the original Jordan Luka 2, showcasing leather overlays, an engineered mesh foundation, and practical nylon pull tabs. Luka's distinct logo adorns the tongue in a contrasting black, while the heel tabs become a conversation starter, bearing a Latin phrase spanning both sneakers. The cushioned white foam midsole finishes the design, combined with a semi-translucent icy blue rubber outsole.
The Jordan Luka 2 Trick Shot will release October 24, 2023, through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $130.
