Despite his extensive responsibilities, Kostadinov's passion for collaboration remains strong, as evidenced by his latest project, the Kiko Kostadinov x Asics US5-S Gel-Quantum Kinetic. This pack follows up on his recent Gel-Terrain collab.
This collaboration introduces the Gel-Quantum Kinetic silhouette in two striking colorways, Blue and Green, each offering a unique take on Asics' innovative technology and Kostadinov's avant-garde aesthetic. The sneakers are constructed with mesh weaves across the upper, creating a rich texture and depth that's visually appealing and functionally superior. The Light Indigo variant is accented with hints of purple, adding a layer of vibrancy.
At the same time, the Moss version is complemented with black accents, lending a more understated yet equally compelling look. Enhancements like added pull tabs on the tongue contribute to the sneaker's futuristic design and improve its functionality, making it easier to wear. The design is rounded off with a Gel-Quantum midsole in black, ensuring optimal comfort and performance, paired with a tonal outsole that seamlessly ties the design together.
The Kiko Kostadinov x Asics US5-S Gel-Quantum Kinetic Pack will release on May 10, 2024, through Asics and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men's sizing, retail is set at $280.
