One of the NBA’s brightest young stars, Luka Dončić, was fortunate enough to land a sponsorship with Jordan Brand in 2019 that included a signature footwear line and a cool $75 million dollars over the course of five years. While we’re still just getting out first taste of the Jordan Luka 1, we’ve got confirmation that 2023 will see the second signature Jordan of the Dallas Maverick star's signature sneaker line - dubbed the Jordan Luka 2.
The debut "Luk.AI" colorway was unveiled as part of Jordan Brand's announcement of the Jordan Luka 2. It comes in a dark-toned build with purple shades accenting hits of black throughout the design. Luka's logo remains on the tongue while we see a significant redesign to the upper. As opposed to the mesh and TPU build of the Luka 1, we see a more traditional suede, mesh, and nylon construction for the Jordan Luka 2. Hits of Jumpman branding are present, and find a home atop the tongue's pull tab and along the sole unit. Speaking of the sole, it has also undergone a redesign. It now forgoes the two bubble-shaped layers seen on the Luka 1 and instead comes in a more traditional design. Internally, there are four different variants of foam, including Cushlon 3.0 and Formula 23, that help keep you secure and comfortable for movements on the hardwood court.
The Jordan Luka 2 Luk.AI will release July 5 through exclusive access to Nike members while a global launch through through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store will take placeJuly 11 . The silhouette will retail for $130 in men's sizing.
