This admiration dates back to the early days of the 580s when retailers like mita sneakers played a pivotal role in elevating the model through exclusive releases and collaborations. Recently, mita sneakers collaborated on the model with the Masterpiece Sound x Hombe Niño x mita sneakers x New Balance 580 GTX. Now, they are teaming up with Tokyo-based sneaker care brand MARQUEE PLAYER for another exciting Gore-Tex-infused iteration of the New Balance 580.
The MARQUEE PLAYER × mita sneakers × New Balance 580 GTX showcases a harmonious blend of blue and grey hues. The darker blue mudguard contrasts with the lighter blue shades on the vamp and midfoot panels, creating a dynamic look. One of the standout features is the glow-in-the-dark splatter paint on the midfoot, adding a unique twist. Branding from mita sneakers and MARQUEE PLAYER is split between the two pairs, while the tongue features care instructions in a font reminiscent of MARQUEE PLAYER's products. Gore-Tex branding on the lateral heel highlights the sneaker's weather-resistant capabilities. The look is completed with a grey and navy foam midsole and a black Vibram rubber outsole.
