The Marvel x Puma RS-X Black Panther Releases June 2024

For years, Disney and Marvel have teamed up with adidas to produce footwear for their superhero franchises, though that will change in the coming months. Previously, we reported that a Puma Suede themed after Spider-Man was headed our way, with new images of a Black Panther-themed Puma RS-X appearing.
Dressed in a color scheme that echoes the aesthetic of the Black Panther's suit, the Marvel x Puma RS-X Black Panther is a testament to the prowess and elegance of the superhero. The upper boasts an intricate blend of materials, including faux carbon fiber, mesh, suede, and TPU, all in a sleek black palette. Bluish accents adorn various sneaker elements, adding a mystical glow reminiscent of Vibranium, the fictional metal from the Marvel Universe.
The Puma Formstrip is reimagined to mimic the iconic Vibranium necklace, showcasing bluish-purple accents that connect the design to the character's lore. Additionally, Marvel's branding is prominently featured on the tongue, complementing the superhero theme, while the insole presents a playful cartoon depiction of the Black Panther, unmasked. A black and blue foam midsole paired with a matching rubber outsole completes the design, ensuring this sneaker stands out in aesthetics and performance.
The Marvel x Puma RS-X Black Panther will release June 22, 2024, through Puma and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $120.
