Unless you've been living under a rock for the past two years, you'd know that the New Balance 2002R is currently one of the most popular silhouettes in the game. Originally released in 2010, it was brought back in 2020 to celebrate its 10th anniversary, and things just haven't been the same since. All of a sudden, the retro runner has made its way to sneaker collections all over the globe, and it's all thanks to colorways like the upcoming New Balance 2002R "White Sea Salt." The perfect fusion of classic and contemporary, if for whatever reason you still don't have a pair in your daily rotation, this is about to change your mind.
Working on top of a crisp white engineered mesh base, sea salt leather panels wrap around the entire upper for a premium look and feel. The iconic "N" logo adorns the lateral and medial sidewalls with a subtle texture, and "2002R" is printed around the collar. Shifting your focus underfoot, the midsole is crafted from ABZORB which is the same foam that's used on some of New Balance's most popular models, and this is lined with a N-ERGY outsole which is dipped in a "Raw Cashew" hue for a pop of contrast that's sure to turn heads wherever you go.
Releasing sometime in 2023 in men's sizes, the New Balance 2002R White Sea Salt will be available via New Balance and select retailers online and in-store for $140. Even more colorways are set to be announced very soon, so make sure you keep it locked to Sole Retriever's Twitter andMobile App for your best chance to cop!
