In part due to the reintroduction of the New Balance 550, the Boston-based brand has skyrocketed in popularity over the past three years. New Balance continues to churn out more colorways for the Steven Smith-designed model, including recent reveals of “Olive Suede” and “Grey Canvas.” Joining the mix soon will be a 550 in a “White Turtledove.”
Like most versions of the model, the New Balance 550 White Turtledove comes with a combination of tumbled leather and mesh. The toe box, mudguard, and midfoot sections feature tumbled leather, offering a premium look to the model. The eyelet panel has a perforated finish and “550” text in a tonal white hue. The heel overlay comes in a smooth finish while exposed foam on the tongue brings a vintage touch to the model. Underfoot, a cream midsole is paired with a grey outsole.
The New Balance 550 White Turtledove has already seen a release overseas, while a US launch will take place later this year through New Balance. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $110.
