Building on its legacy of high-quality, comfortable footwear, New Balance is dipping into the slide trend. After the reveal of the Warped Runner, an avant-garde design that resonates with the aesthetics of Yeezy 700 V3, New Balance has come up with another intriguing design for its Fresh Foam MRSHN Slide. The foam slide fits in well with the likes of the adidas Yeezy Slide and Nike Calm Slide, the latter of which just joined the field.
The New Balance Fresh Foam MRSHN Slide features a one-piece injection mold utilizing the brand's highly responsive cushioning tech. To add a bit of textural variation and enhanced grip, hexagonal patterns adorn the outsole and the forefoot area. Of the four colorways that have already surfaced, three follow a neutral palette in "Black," "Cream," and "White." The fourth colorway deviates from the monochromatic design with vibrant mix of a volt green base with blue and red gradients spread across.
The New Balance Fresh Foam MRSHN Slide released in June through EU-based retailers, while a wider release through New Balance US is set for later in the year. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $55.
