Kawhi Leonard Officially Unveils The New Balance Kawhi 3 Alpha Predator
It's been a while since Kawhi Leonard dropped a shoe. In fact, the last time the Los Angeles Clippers small forward released anything was all the way back in May with the Kawhi II "Ocean Blue." There's a pretty good reason behind this hiatus though, as he has just officially revealed his third signature sneaker with the Boston-based brand. Dubbed the New Balance Kawhi 3 "Alpha Predator," this hardcourt model is packed to the gills with innovative technologies that will, no doubt, take his game to the next level.
Debuted during Thursday night's matchup against Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks, the Kawhi 3 features a multi-material construction that's painted predominantly in slick black shades. A snakeskin motif surrounds the upper as a nod to the shoe's "Alpha Predator" moniker, while oversized "NB" logos feature vertically across the tongues in a fiery red. Shifting your focus underfoot, the white speckled midsole is infused with FuelCell for unrivaled cushioning on the court, and for the first time ever, New Balance has added Energy Arc technology to a basketball shoe for unbeatable response and energy return. This is then finished off with a carbon fiber plate to make it even more lightweight, finalizing the beastly design.

The New Balance Kawhi 3 Alpha Predator is set to release on February 10th, 2023 in men's sizes. Expected to drop at New Balance and select online and in-store retailers for $160, it'll be followed by a slew of other colorways including the "Recharged Chakra," "Multi-Dimensional," and the "Sacred Geometry."
