One of the more niche subdivisions of The Swoosh, Nike ACG has been producing outdoor-ready footwear and apparel since 1989 and maintains a cult following still to this day. While their designs aren’t necessarily geared towards lifestyle wear, innovations and silhouettes from the label are ready to take on the elements, and their latest moccasin-Esque silhouette (the Nike ACG Watercat+) is ready for your next outdoor expedition.
Coming to us in a clean “Black” colorway, the upper comes constructed out of what appears to be a woven bungee cord material that is held together by leather panels near the edge of the upper and sole and via the heel counter. This woven design reaches from the toe back towards the heel and comes with an infinity lacing system that can be adjusted to the wearer's liking. ACG branding graces the tongue tag, heel, and insole while “ACG” text appears in black on the white foam midsole. Rounding out the design is the grippy rubber outsole in black that comes with an outdoor-ready traction pattern.
The Nike ACG Watercat+ Black will release July 21 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $125.
