The legendary Nike Air Force 1 has hundreds of variations and combinations of colors, materials, and shapes. Some say too many. Nevertheless, Nike continues to pump out AF1s in abundance every month. Next up is an all-new Brogue edition, made exclusively for the ladies.
The design of this AF1 combines a classic dress shoe with one of Nike's most popular silhouettes. The Brogue design comes from a low-heeled shoe characterized by multiple-piece, sturdy leather uppers with decorative perforations and serration along the most visible edges. Initially, Brogues were considered inappropriate for casual or business occasions, but they are now regarded as appropriate in most situations.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low Brogue Sail sports a premium all-leather upper, remixed with serrations around the eye stays and perforations on the side panel. Moving up, you have two lace options: a brown wax round lace or the traditional flat lace commonly found on the Nike Air Force 1. The tongue comes in canvas, with a square brown leather tongue tag atop. The back heel tab has four suit patterns in khaki and cacao wow: tartan, plaid seersucker, and Madras. These are popular suits commonly paired with a traditional Brogue shoe. Lastly, the classic AF1 tooled sole is covered in khaki.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low Brogue Sail W will release in Spring 2024, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in women's sizing, the retail price is set at $115. For the latest information on this and other exciting sneaker releases, download the Sole Retriever mobile app.
