If you ask any sneakerhead what the most iconic colorway in the game is, there's a huge possibility that they'd bring up the "Bred." Made famous by Michael Jordan and his flagship Air Jordan 1, the color combination has made its way across hundreds of different sneakers throughout the decades, but for 2023, the American sportswear giant has plans to remaster it with the Nike Air Force 1 Mid Split "Bred."
Releasing as part of the hotly-anticipated "Split" Pack which already includes the Air Force 1 Low and the Dunk High, this Air Force 1 Mid boasts a full-leather construction that's smooth and soft to the touch. Working on top of a slick black base, fiery red panels wrap around the lacing system, toebox, and back for a look that's sure to turn heads. With that said, the tongue tag, heel badge, Swoosh, and rubber outsole all feature a unique split look that will quite literally divide opinion. Of course, you can't talk about this sneaker without mentioning the Velcro-fastened strap that wraps around the ankle for the ultimate lockdown fit.
The Nike Air Force 1 Mid Split Bred will release July 15.
