Nike's Air Huarache line has remained a steadfast player in the sneaker game since its introduction in 1991, thanks to its striking design and innovative technology. A staple in any sneaker lover's rotation, the Huarache has seen numerous iterations. One of the latest versions, the Huarache Craft, marries the traditional aesthetic with a more contemporary design language. For its latest colorway, the Huarache Craft follows the same color palette and design cues seen on the Nike Dunk Low Disrupt 2 and Nike Air Force 1 Low in the “Native Tribal” colorway.
The Nike Air Huarache Craft "Native Tribal" features a base of mesh and neoprene in pristine white, offering a clean canvas upon which the rest of the design elements can shine. Cracked leather overlays on the midfoot extend a delicate cream color, adding subtle contrast. The incorporation of tribal patterns on the nylon pull tabs, heel tab, and near the collar introduce a dynamic, culturally inspired touch. A multicolored tassel in the lacing setup lends a pop of color to the neutral palette. Anchoring the design is a white foam midsole, topped off with a jade and clear semi-translucent rubber outsole.
The Nike Air Huarache Craft Native Tribal W will release Holiday 2023 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in women’s sizing, the retail price is set at $130.
