The Nike Air Max 1 '86 OG Lost Sketch Features Safari Print
Updated on •PublishedWith the reintroduction of the "Big Bubble" in the Air Max 1, dubbed the Nike Air Max 1 '86 OG, Tinker Hatfield's original design for Nike was once again hitting shelves. Following a slew of numbered pairs across four colorways, another limited pair of Air Max 1 ‘86 OGs is set to arrive. This time, the infamous “Safari” theme appears on the “Lost Sketch” colorway.
As with other ‘86 OG pairs, the sneakers pay tribute to the original Air Max design and its "Big Bubble." Blues in various shades sweep across the upper, while a touch of wildness is infused into the design through the safari print suede mudguard running from toe to heel. Light blue hues grace the vamp, midfoot panel, and heel overlay, while greenish-grey shades encompass the toebox, laces, and collar. The Nike Swoosh and sockliner stand out in a dark navy blue that anchors the lighter tones. The shoe concludes with a faux-aged midsole, which houses a larger Air unit in the heel, now bearing the word "AIR" close to the cushion, partnered with a navy outsole.
The Nike Air Max 1 '86 OG Premium Lost Sketch will release June 16 through Nike and select NBHD retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $170.
