Though Nike is US-based, The Swoosh still caters to its international audience and their love of football, sponsoring superstar soccer players such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Eden Hazard, and Kylian Mbappé. Now the brand is taking its Nike F.C. division and giving them the opportunity to work on a classic Nike silhouette with the upcoming Nike Air Max 95 SE "Social FC."
Utilizing the standard makeup for an AM95, the silhouette is dressed in neutral shades, sans the gold accents and red stripe. On the toe, a brown suede sits above the white mesh underlay, connecting to the bottommost eyestay which houses a set of white laces. Atop the mesh tongue, the usual Nike branding is replaced with a gold Nike F.C. logo featuring a graphic of a soccer ball and crown. Working down the profile, the canvas stripes get a tan and white camouflage print except for the previously mentioned red stripe which also hosts a white Nike Swoosh on the lateral side. Split between the left and right pair’s insoles is a graphic depicting the Nike Social FC logo and Nike F.C. artwork respectively. Back on the heel, a brown suede heel overlay is home to brown Nike Air text. Underfoot, a white Air Max 95 midsole with visible Air Units throughout is paired with a brown rubber outsole.
The Nike Air Max 95 SE Social FC is slated to release in November 2022 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Coming in men's sizing, the retail price is set at $185.
