The Nike Cortez may be one of Nike’s oldest silhouettes, but that doesn’t stop it from being revisited and remixed for new releases each year. For example, a women’s version was just recently added to the “All Petals United” Collection. With this upcoming release, Nike coats the Cortez in sesame leather for an earthy design that can complement any outfit.
Smooth sesame leather envelops the classic Cortez upper, blending overlays to create a solid color theme. A striking white tumbled leather Swoosh cuts through the sesame, providing balance. The white carries back to the heel counter, which features a Nike Swoosh logo in matching sesame. White appears on the tongue, featuring a classic white, black, and orange Nike tongue tag. Underfoot, the midsole takes on a two-layer approach, with white and sesame hugging each other. It all gets rounded out with a spiky sail outsole, anchoring the model to the ground.
The Nike Cortez Sesame is set to release this Fall through Nike and select retailers, online and in-store. Releasing in men’s sizing, the retail price will be $90.
