Just when you thought you've seen every Dunk High combination physically possible, Nike goes ahead and takes the wraps off the Nike Dunk High Split "Summit White Baltic Blue Deep Royal Blue." One of the latest colorways to hit the American sportswear company's ever-popular high-top basketball shoe, we've never seen anything quite like this before. Rumored to be part of a much wider collection, if you want a sneaker that's sure to turn heads wherever you go, you might just be looking at it right here.
Outfitted in a full leather construction, this Dunk High works on top of a crisp summit white base and is overlaid by light silver paneling throughout. While it bears a striking resemblance to 2021's "Vast Grey" at the moment, that's where all the similarities end. A Swoosh shoots through the lateral and medial sides that's split between Baltic Blue and deep royal blue hues, and this contrasted theme extends towards the rubber outsole underfoot. That's not all though, as the "Nike" logo around the heel and insole also boast a juxtaposed aesthetic, switching between the Beaverton brand's current font and the one that it used back in the '70s, bringing together the classic and the contemporary.
The Nike Dunk High Split Summit White Baltic Blue Deep Royal Blue will release July 15 through Nike, the SNKRS app, and select online and in-store locations worldwide. Available in men's and grade school sizes, the pair will retail for $115 and $105 respectively.
