Without a shadow of a doubt, retro sneakers are all the rage these days. To strike while the iron is still hot, Nike is set to unleash the Nike Gamma Force. While this silhouette looks like something straight out of the Beaverton brand's archives, it's actually an all-new model that has been unveiled for 2023. If you're feeling these as much as we are, keep it locked to find out everything that we know so far, including potential colorways, release information, pricing details, and so much more.
Borrowing elements from 1982's Air Force 1 and 1984's Mac Attack (which is set to make a comeback very soon), the Gamma Force very clearly takes inspiration from some of the '80s most iconic Swoosh sneakers. Set to debut in four clean color schemes, it features a predominantly leather construction with toebox perforations that mirror those of 1986's Air Jordan 2. A dash of mesh embraces the ankle for added comfort, and a contrast Swoosh shoots through the lateral and medial sidewalls for that unmistakable Nike aesthetic. "Nike Air" branding adorns the tongue tag and heel tab, and all four pairs sit on top of creamy Air midsoles underfoot for an extremely vintage vibe.
Releasing sometime in Fall 2023, the Nike Gamma Force W will drop exclusively in women's sizes for now with a retail price of $90 each. Expected to be available at Nike and select retailers worldwide, make sure you keep it locked for your best chance to cop, and for the hottest sneaker and streetwear news and releases, follow us over on Twitter and download our officialMobile App today if you haven't already!
