Kevin Durant has taken his relationship with Nike to another level. Prior to the launch of the Nike KD 16, Durant inked a lifetime deal with the brand, making him one of the few NBA players to ever receive such a contract from Nike or a competitor. Now, we've got a look at another colorway for Durant's forthcoming signature model, as the KD 16 takes a page from the iconic "Red October" Air Yeezy 2.
Various shades of red cover this KD 16, which is bound to turn heads on the court and on the street. The engineered mesh upper provides breathability while offering a comfortable fit. Leather and TPU overlays add durability and support and further enhance the red theme. The tonal laces and tongue are also adorned in red. Finalizing the design is the foam midsole and outsole, which, you guessed it, come in red.
The Nike KD 16 Triple Red will release October 2023 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men's sizing, the sneaker will retail for $160.
