With LeBron James and his Los Angeles Lakers making a run at the NBA Championship, Nike Basketball has plenty of LeBron 20 releases left before then season ends. While we have seen pairs like the "All-Star," "Chosen 1," and "Nike Lifer" release in the past few weeks, all eyes are set on the next colorway, the "Fab 5" edition.
The Nike LeBron 20 "Fab 5" represents LeBron James and his four of his closest friends, Sian Cotton, Dru Joyce III, Romeo Davis, and Willie McGee. They all grew up in Akron, Ohio together, and even played high school ball at Saint Vincent-Saint Mary. James and his friends are still as close today as they were over twenty years ago. Its only fitting that Nike Basketball honors this friendship with a special colorway of James' current sneaker, the LeBron 20. Coming in black, metallic gold, white, and pure platinum, this pair sports a black-based knit mesh upper. Metallic Gold accents are complemented by a speckled midsole and icy blue translucent outsole. Green hits on the insole logo and King James logo on the bottom of the outsole, a nod to the SVSM Fighting Irish founds everything out.
The Nike LeBron 20 Fab 5 is set to release on April 6th, 2023 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men, gradeschool, and preschool sizing, retail is set at $200, $160, and $95, respectively.
