Jumping straight from high school into the NBA, LeBron James has forever shown love to the high school that shaped him into the hall-of-fame player he became through exclusive colorways of his signature line with Nike. After gifting FAMU a series of PEs on the Nike LeBron 20, James is heading back to Ohio and giving the basketball team an “Away” PE colorway.
Dressed in its usual engineered mesh upper, the sneaker takes on green shades that have forever been associated with The Fighting Irish while golden-tan and white hits accent throughout. Pebbled leather along the eyestays and tongue comes in a slightly different shade of green, as do the laces nearby, while the midfoot houses double Swoosh branding in white and gold. Back on the heel, the usual crown logo is replaced with SVSM’s logo, however, LeBron’s signature still makes an appearance on the top of the tongue. Underfoot sits a two-tone white and green midsole with the latter of the two hosting an intricate graphic depicting palm trees, a film reel, and an emblem denoting the LeBron 20. Rounding out the design is the grippy rubber outsole in the school's golden-tan shade.
The Nike LeBron 20 SVSM Away PE is likely to remain exclusive to LeBron James and the St. Vincent-St. Mary high school basketball team.
