LeBron James' support for Florida A&M University (FAMU) continues to strengthen, as evidenced by the exclusive Nike sneakers gifted to the university's student-athletes. FAMU receives these sneakers and is distinguished as one of the first Nike LeBron schools, similar to those affiliated with the Jordan Brand. The university has been given a Nike LeBron NXXT Gen PE for its latest exclusive. This follows up on the FAMU x APB x Nike LeBron 20 release in Peach Cream and Coconut Milk and an AZG Cleat PE.
This special edition of the LeBron NXXT Gen reflects FAMU's signature color palette, highlighting the university's identity and pride. The sneaker boasts an engineered mesh base in FAMU's vibrant green shade, complemented by white and orange accents that add to its dynamic look. These white portions include the tongue, lace set, and Swoosh, as well as parts of the heel.
Nike and LeBron branding grace the lace cover, while FAMU's iconic rattlesnake logo is elegantly embroidered above. The design is further enhanced by orange accents on the sockliner, the Swoosh's stitching, and a mini Swoosh on the lateral side. A tri-color midsole in white, orange, and green, paired with a white rubber outsole, completes the design.
Unfortunately, the Nike LeBron NXXT Gen FAMU PE will not be publicly available and instead be an exclusive pair for student-athletes who play for the Rattlers. Check below for detailed images of the pair, and download the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the latest in the sneaker world.
