The Shox series is considered by many sneakerheads to be one of the most iconic Swoosh silhouettes from the early '00s. Last featured on coveted collaborations such as the Martine Rose x Nike Shox MR4 and the Supreme x Nike Shox Ride 2, it looks like it's set to return in two monochromatic color options with the Nike Shox TL "Black Metallic" and the Nike Shox TL "White Metallic." A contemporary take on the classic, make sure you read on to find out everything that we know so far.
If you're experiencing a little bit of déjà vu, it's probably because the Shox TL dropped in these monochromatic color options back in the Summer of 2019. Working on top of a mesh base, the entire upper is wrapped in a glossy TPU cage which offers unrivaled support. A Swoosh shoots through the lateral and medial side panels for that retro look and feel, and around the back, you'll find a panel of nylon which is black on the "Black Metallic" pair, and metallic silver on the "White Metallic" one. Nike Shox branding adorns the tongues in fiery max orange hues, and of course, you can't talk about this model without mentioning the midsole that's made up of a series of twelve cushioned columns for unbeatable comfort with every step.
The Nike Shox TL Black Metallic W will release July 25, 2023 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store while the Nike Shox TL White Metallic W will release on August 22. Returning exclusively in women's sizing for $170, it'll be available via Nike and select retailers online and in-store.
