The Nike Terminator High HBCU Pack Releases October 2023

Nike has always championed diversity and inclusivity, and their continued support for Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) is a testament to that commitment. These collaborations extend beyond mere branding; they forge powerful partnerships that benefit students in manifold ways. After last year's smashing success of the Yardrunners collection, which celebrated HBCUs with multiple Dunk Low colorways, Nike is poised to commemorate these esteemed institutions with the Terminator High HBCU Pack in 2023.

This year's homage to HBCUs is even more vivid, as Nike brings forward the Terminator High in five striking colorways. These designs are inspired by and dedicated to five prominent HBCUs: Tuskegee, Alabama A&M, Morehouse, Spelman, and TSU. While we don’t have looks at the entire collection, glimpses of the Alabama A&M, Spelman, and TSU pairs have come forward. Each shoe boasts meticulous attention to detail: the year the institution was established adorns the mudguard, while the school's emblem stands proudly on the tongue tag. Spelman's and Alabama's pairs are enriched with laces and inside tags that carry motivational phrases, echoing the essence of their respective schools. For instance, Alabama’s pair nods to the "Normal's Hill," spotlighting the iconic student apartment location. The TSU variant, however, stands out unexpectedly. Instead of directly referencing the university, it salutes Slim and Husky's Pizza, a popular local pizzeria set up by TSU alums. This pair beautifully weaves in tributes to both the esteemed HBCU and the beloved pizza joint.

The Nike Terminator High HBCU Pack will release between November and December 2023, through Nike, SNKRS, and selected retailers online and in-store, likely including pop-ups at each respective institution. Available in men’s sizes, each pair will retail for $135.
