Nike is preparing to pay homage to the Portland Trail Blazers and their NBA Championship win in 1977 with a new version of the timeless Nike Terminator High. The iconic silhouette first stepped onto the sneaker scene in the mid-80s and has recently seen a resurgence in color schemes. Not only is the Nike Terminator High paying tribute to this West Coast NBA franchise, but the model will also be returning in the classic “Seattle” colorway.
Sporting a mix of black, red, and white, this Nike Terminator High captures the essence of the Portland Trail Blazers. The design features red leather on the mudguard and eyestays, while black leather covers the toe, midfoot, collar, and heel. More black hues are seen on the tongue and lace set, contrasting with the "Portland 77" text in red on the tongue tag. The iconic Swoosh on the midfoot appears in white, perfectly matching the heel tab, and the bold red "NIKE" text on the heel adds an extra splash of color. Completing the design is a classic white Terminator midsole and a black rubber outsole.
The Nike Terminator High Portland will release Holiday 2023 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men's sizing, the retail price is set at $125.
