While we’ve seen Nike and Jordan Brand bring us plenty of retro silhouettes in golf-ready form, Nike Golf produces its own series of sneakers that are designed from the ground up for a day out on the links. One of the most popular lines of golf sneakers from The Swoosh would have to be Tiger Woods’ signature series of sneakers, though we haven’t seen a new release for the series since 2020's iteration. Now, during the 10th anniversary of (arguably) his most popular model, the Nike Tiger Woods ‘13 is returning for the first time in retro form.
Taking its design inspiration from Nike Free shoes, Tiger tasked Nike with designing a silhouette that felt as close as possible to an off-the-links sneaker as a golf-ready model could. For its return colorway, we see a combination of white, varsity red, jetstream, and anthracite with the majority of the sneaker taking on shades of white. Nike and Tiger Woods branding gets placed throughout as the Swoosh logo on the midfoot and Tiger Woods “TW” logo come in black and red respectively. Containment when on foot is aided by the use of Flywire on the lacing system that provides an adaptive fit for stability with mobility. Underfoot sits a foam midsole in white with the rubber outsole below containing removable spikes that can be interchanged for your next outing on the course.
The Nike Tiger Woods ‘13 White Varsity Red is set to release on February 16th, 2023 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $240.
