Being so closely intertwined with the founding of Nike, it's no surprise that the University of Oregon continues to be blessed with exclusive footwear. The football team just had a massive win against Ohio State, with the entire team pulling up to gameday wearing the DOAF x Nike Dunk Low What The Duck Pack. Now, ahead of the Ducks’ game against Purdue on Friday, we’ve got a first look at an exclusive Nike Dunk-inspired cleat.
While the silhouette has been offered to the public with a Kyler Murray and Panda Dunk colorway, this new colorway comes coated in the Ducks' signature green and yellow colors. Bright green shades land on the mudguard, eyestays, and heel overlay, while the base layer below comes in a darker green hue. Oregon's duck mascot rests above the yellow lace set on the tongue tag. Along the midfoot sits a metallic chrome 3D Swoosh, extending back near the Nike-branded heel tab. Even with this lifestyle-esque appearance, the internals have the same tooling and knit bootie as the standard Vapor Edge.
Unfortunately, the Nike Vapor Edge Dunk Oregon Ducks PE will remain exclusive to the Oregon Ducks football team and will be worn this Friday when they take the field against Purdue.
