Nike Basketball may not have a chokehold on the sneaker game like it did in the 2010s but its signature sihlouettes with NBA athletes continue to stay popular amongst ball players and consumers alike. One model that has become a fan-favorite is from the Greek Freak himself, Giannis Antetokounmpo, with the Nike Zoom Freak 4 coming in at an affordable price point and finds itself coverd in unique colorways quite often. Following the release of the “All-Star” rendition last month, we’re set to receive a letter-covered colorway dubbed “Letter Bro.”
Taking on shades of pale vanilla, blue lightning, and coral chalk, the silhouette keeps its engineered mesh upper, TPU overlays, and foam construction while adding a graphic print throughout featuring various letters in the English alphabet. A single creamy shade takes over most of the base layer and TPU while the lace set, tongue, and sockliner come in a vibrant shade of pink. Branding details on the other hand contrast both previously mentioned colors as Giannis’ logo atop the tongue, the reverse Nike Swoosh on the midfoot, and the split-branded heel tab take on a blue finish. Underfoot sits a pale vanilla foam midsole with a front-loaded Zoom Air unit visible near the toe paired with a blue rubber outsole.
The Nike Zoom Freak 4 Letter Bro is set to release on April 1st, 2023 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $130.
