As one of the rare examples of a brand that takes pride in its ethical manufacturing process, Noah (the NYC-based fashion label) has continually sourced its products from factories and manufacturers who pay fair wages and have a deep-rooted passion for creating high-quality clothing. Taking these methods and applying them to sneakers, it's rare you find a large sportswear brand (sans New Balance) that produces a significant amount of product in high-paying factories, however, Noah is looking to change that with its latest collaboration. Teaming up with Puma on a handful of Puma Clyde colorways, Noah looked to Japanese manufacturers its create its take on the classic silhouette.
Coming to us in three colorways, we see the humble Puma Clyde get dressed in a “Brown,” “Navy,” and “Green” ensemble while taking on high-quality suede material. Accenting gold hits take over branding details seen near the midfoot with a stamped “Puma Clyde” while green takes over the Noah-branded tongue tag. Each sneaker comes laced up with a white set of laces, however, tonal sets for each respective colorway are included that match the rest of the upper. Finally, we see the Puma side stripe come in an accenting shade with yellow on the “Navy” pair, green on the “Brown” pair, and navy on the “Green” pair. Rounding out the design is the white Puma Cylde midsole and outsole.
The Noah x Puma Clyde Made In Japan Pack is set to release on March 16th, 2023 through Noah’s website (noahny.com). Releasing in men’s sizing, the retail price is currently TBA.
